Antique French Safe

This safe was built around 1865 by the prominent safe manufacturer August Nicolas Bauche de Reims. It is believed that he built it for a French baron from the Champagne region.

This safe is of high decorative value, everything from inside to out. The orange-red interior lacquer and the wood grain exterior is almost 100% original - only minimal reconditioning was needed. Another aspect of this safe is a beautiful wooden Rosette on its supporting foundation. To top that, Bauche's highly decorative and original label of manufacture is still there as well.
